Day Seven

Before heading out from Cityat Outpost, I mined two huge copper deposits that were nearby. I also found a lot of knowledge stones. With that chore done, I lifted off and set out for the distress signal I wanted to investigate. The long trip was worth it, as I got the blueprint for a Hazmat Gauntlet! I will be able to farm a number of valuable resources after I craft it.

The flight back to my Zethyar base yielded an unexpected number of discoveries. The first was an ancient ruin site that I spotted from the air. While there were no ancient artifacts to be found at this site, I did get the location of another site not far away. There I uncovered a mutated bug fruit worth 113kU. I was also able to successfully escape with a gravatino ball by digging a cave to hide in after alerting the sentinels. I was able to steal all 3 gravatino balls from this site using the same method. With the 3 gravatino balls I made about 200kU from this site! Not much compared to the million dollar ancient manuscript I found before, but still not bad.

Flying back to my home base, I spotted an unmarked drop pod from the air. Suit upgrade!

Out over the ocean in a little chain of islands I see something BIG under the water, a manmade structure sticking up above the surface, with clearly much more of it beneath. My visor shows it is the MS Fukura's Glory, what I assume to be a crashed frigate. I'm unwilling to explore this just swimming around in my space suit, so I dropped a base computer here and claimed the land. I can fast travel here with a teleporter when I am ready.

Another sunken frigate, the MS Kihara-Yush Spirit. Like the Fukura site, I drop a base computer to make my claim and leave a travel point for later exploration before moving on.

To do list is as follows:

• Craft Hazmat Gauntlet
• Use planetary chart from Celestial Archive to locate artifacts
• Use acquired drop pod data with signal beacon and see if there are more upgrades I can get for my suit
